The Grid 1.0

TriggerPoint’s most ubiquitos product, the GRID, was needing a new package design in order to continue to stay relevant and attractive to potential customers while ensuring that other product innovations within its own line weren’t inadvertently “stealing the thunder.”

The Open Box Concept

The “open box” packaging concept encouraged people to pick up the product and feel it to get an overall impression of quality and efficacy of the benefits being presented, allowing for potential customers to “try before they buy.” The numerous, surrounding panels afforded plenty of space for product and benefit elaboration as well as for a more-refined brand presentation through brighter colors surrounded with subtler contrast relationships with type and supporting visuals.

Earlier Explorations

An earlier exploration included harsher angular visual elements with more pronounced and heavier contrasting elements that ended up not feeling appropriate.
