Like many other industries, global fireworks supplies suffered an inventory crisis during 2021's 4th of July season. Mr. W had sincere concerns customers wouldn’t get the fireworks they wanted. Creative expectation management was in order.

The communication objective for visual design and supporting copy direction was to inspire a sense of urgency through an upbeat and playful take on scarcity while still driving home the reality behind the limited quantities message.

The bulk of inbound marketing efforts was facilitated through the landing page which visually and conceptually matched the season’s campaign and served as an opt-in opportunity for those seeking coupons through social media or the parent website.

To kick off the 4th of July fireworks sales season in true “While Supplies Blast” fashion a custom holiday was conceived to help ramp-up awareness and build urgency around the limited quantities and promote sales activity coined, “Red, White and Blue Friday.”
